What a beautiful promise from God's word. This doesn't promise that things will never be hard, but that if we stay in the center of His Grace, through obedience, the fullness of His protection is ours when the enemy decides to take aim at God's children. Obedience is better to God than sacrifice! The subtitle refers to the command Jesus gave the disciples before He sent them out for ministry. God wants us to be able to recognize the ways the enemy tries to wage war against His people, while at the same time, being able to wash our hands in innocence. comp 7/09.
